Voldo was born in Palermo in the Spanish Empire. He lost his whole family because of wars. His age is uncertain but we can say that he is about 50 years old.

Voldo uses very particular weapons the Dual Jamadar Katar, a type of short punching sword, and has his own fighting style.

Voldo s background s appears to be really dark. He was the right-hand of an Italian weapons merchant Vercci, nicknamed the Merchant of Death.

His master wanted Soul Edge for his personal collection of rare weapons. He ordered Voldo to find it.

To find the sword Voldo contracted with the dread Pirate cervantes. His master decided then to take part to the expedition.

But as the Italian Wars began, his master lost all his belongings, and all what remained was his fleet. They established on a lost island in the Mediterranean Sea.

As Vercci was dying the sailors dug his grab and his treasures were hidden. For more security Voldo killed all sailors and became the guardian of the tomb and of the Island.

He stayed there for years but one day he heard his master s voice commanding him to find the sword once again.

But he failed to find Soul Edge and finally went back on the Island. But this was not the end of his adventures and as well as the other character his story evolves through the several sequels.
